Survey: 70 percent say commute time will double due to L closure

A new poll finds most Brooklyn residents are not prepared for the looming L train shutdown.
According to the Global Strategy Group survey, 70 percent of people polled say they expect the commute time to at least double because of the closure.
It also states 93 percent say the shutdown will add much more stress to their daily lives, and 85 percent believe Mayor Bill de Blasio needs to do more to help city commuters.
Just under 1,000 straphangers registered to take the survey.
