Officials: Beacon man arrested, accused of selling drugs

Officials say a Beacon man was arrested and is being accused of selling drugs.

Derrick Lorrick is being charged with criminal possession of a controlled substance with intent to sell.

Officials say they found around 11.5 grams of cocaine, narcotics packaging and weighing equipment at his home.

The 55-year-old was arraigned and remanded to Dutchess County Jail.

Lorrick is due back in court on Nov. 7.
