Roslyn man gets 9 years for stealing $4.5M from mother

A Roslyn man who stole $4.5 million from his own mother, has been sentenced to up to nine years in prison.
Samuel Bernstein pleaded guilty in August and was sentenced Thursday for taking the money from his mother’s account.
The money had been set aside for a charity for tennis players in wheelchair.
However, the 24-year-old spent the money on things like private jets, Super Bowl tickets and a $100,000 bottle of champagne.
