After flood, the show goes on for Port Jeff theater company

Port Jefferson's Theatre Three is moving ahead with its annual holiday production nearly two months after a devastating flood.
Floodwaters tore through the theater during a torrential storm on Sept. 25.
"It was the most violent flooding I have ever seen," says Jeffrey Sanzel, who's playing Ebenezer Scrooge in the company's production of "A Christmas Carol" and is the theater's artistic director.
After News 12 aired the story of how the theater was damaged, the community came out in droves to help get the theater back up and running.
While there's still work to be done, theater goers say they're thrilled to see the curtains rise once again.
"A Christmas Carol" premiered last weekend and runs through Dec. 29.
