Police in Bridgeport say a woman was shot in the leg when a gunman opened fire at a bus stop at the intersection of Connecticut and Waterman avenues.

Police say three people were standing at the bus stop just before noon when a man wearing a ski mask started shooting.

Police say the man who was the intended target ran away and a woman in her thirties was hit in the ankle. The woman is expected to be fine.

Neighbors are on edge following the incident. Police are canvassing the area and hope video can help them crack the case.
