Police have released surveillance video of multiple suspects accused of stealing an ATM from inside of a laundromat.
The incident happened on Nov. 20, at the WashTub Laundry Mat on 332 Tunxis Hill Road between 12:30 a.m. and 4:30 a.m.
Police say the suspects smashed the front glass window of the laundromat and removed an ATM.
Investigators say a similar burglary at Brito's Travel & Multi-Services travel agency occurred in Stamford on Nov. 5.
Police say the glass of the travel agency was also smashed and the ATM was removed during the incident.
Police say the two incidents may be connected.
Surveillance video released by the Fiarfield Police Department shows multiple people get out of two cars in front of the WashTub Laundry Mat around the time the burglary occurred.
Police say an undiclosed amount of money was stolen from inside the ATM.
Anyone with information is asked to call the Fairfield Police Department Detective Division at 202-254-4840.
