A Sheepshead Bay restaurant that was slammed by a truck on Tuesday is continuing to serve customers, just like they have since 1938.
Brennan & Carr restaurant general manager Eddie Sullivan says they have experienced nothing but support from the surrounding community.
“The phone hasn't stopped. The texts, the emails…It touches your heart,” he told News 12.
Before opening for the day Tuesday, a truck carrying milk struck the side of the building after colliding with another vehicle.
Employees say it could have been a tragic event. But instead, it's shown them how much their customers care about them.
