Police raids lead to three arrests and hundreds of thousands of dollars’ worth of drugs in Newark.
The raids happened last Friday at two locations in the city.
According to police, in total, the raids produced 2,700 grams of heroin, 1,900 grams of cocaine and 3,000 grams of marijuana.
The heroin is estimated to be worth more than $500,000 in heroin. The cocaine is worth nearly $100,000 in cocaine, and the marijuana is worth $30,000, according to police.
The prosecutor’s office says more than 200 opioid pills were also seized, as well as several firearms, including an assault rifle.
Akeam Johnson, Orville Powell, and Dwight Shelton, all from Newark, face a list of charges.
