63-year-old fatally struck by car while setting up film set in Cobble Hill

A 63-year-old man was fatally struck while on the job early this morning.
It all happened shortly before 4:30 a.m. on Douglas Street in Cobble Hill.
News 12 is told Pedro Jimenez, of Manhattan, was placing cones on the ground of a parking lane for a film production when a 2006 Ford Explorer hit him.
That victim was pronounced dead at Brooklyn Hospital.
Police say the driver did stay on the scene and the incident is being investigated by the NYPD.
