Police say a man pushed a woman onto the subway tracks in New York City, and then took off.
The New York Police Department says it happened Thursday around 10:30 a.m. Thursday at the Union Square station in Manhattan.
Witnesses told police a man walked up to the 29-year-old victim, shoved her and ran from the scene.
Fellow riders helped the woman back onto the platform before the train arrived.
The woman has been hospitalized with minor injuries.
Police are still searching for the suspect.
