Police: Man dressed as Casper the Ghost robs Ramada Inn

Maybe they should have called the Ghostbusters?
Wayne Township police say that a man wearing a “Casper the Ghost-style bed sheet with holes cut out” robbed the Ramada Inn on Route 46 on Dec. 29.
Police say that 59-year-old Joseph Elder of Wayne entered the main lobby of the hotel though a locked area of the former Tilted Kilt restaurant attached to the hotel. He was allegedly wearing the ghost get-up in an attempt to hide his identity.
Police say that Elder jumped over the hotel desk counter, grabbed a cash drawer full of money and ran from the area.
An investigation revealed that Elder was a guest staying at the hotel. He was arrested and charged with burglary and theft.
