The weekend winter storm is looming, and be sure you gear up fast at a place like Lowes’s, where everything you need is going fast.
Some New Jersey residents may get much more snow, while others may be blanketed in a sheet of ice.
Pete, the manager at Lowe’s, says customers are preparing for that.
“Ice melt is obviously your best, but you’re going to see the calcium chloride, they're pretty much the go-to because they go to low temperatures and we know the temperatures are going to drop low next week so we’re anticipating bringing in another truckload if that as well,” says Pete Alborano.

There are also some powerful snowblowers in stock ready to get to work.
