Driver to face trial next month in hit-and-run death of DJ Jinx Paul

The trial for a man accused of a hit-and-run that killed a well-known DJ was pushed to next month Monday after a judge did not give an expected verdict.
Kevin Ozorio, who was expected to give a deposition Monday, will face trial on March 5.
Family and friends of DJ Jinx Paul, whose legal name was Jean Paul Guerrero, say they're happy to have a definitive date but are also still grieving his loss.
Guerrero's family also called for people who were touched by DJ Jinx Paul or affected by a hit-and-run accident to come out and support them.
Manhattan Councilman Ydanis Rodriguez says he's pushing to double the amount of people assigned to investigate hit-and-run cases.
A plea deal is no longer available for Ozorio.
Guerrero was a DJ at Mega 97.9 FM.
