Store owner: No better way to express love than through chocolate
Valentine’s Day has come, and some may still be wondering what to do for that special someone.
"Everybody loves somebody, and there's no better way to express love than through chocolate,” says Maria Valente, owner of Chocolations in Mamaroneck.

Chocolations features every type of chocolate one can imagine - from dipped strawberries to Oreo bark to chocolate pops for the kids.

This year, Chocolations has made hundreds of pounds of chocolate by hand, with many orders picked up during people’s lunch hours.
“It happens when you're at work and you realize at the last minute that you forgot something and you don't want to go home without anything on Valentine's Day,” says Valente.

Valente says the most common question she gets on Valentine's Day is how late they are open. Her answer is until the last desperate man comes to buy his wife some chocolate.

Maybe the traditional bouquet is more your special someone's speed. Enchanted Flowers in New Rochelle started getting orders for roses and daffodils as early as January. Some others who didn’t like the traditional flowers and chocolate headed to White Castle for a crave case.

White Castle in Yonkers has booked for Valentine's Day since Tuesday. It offers red tablecloths, fake candles and even red plastic decor.
