Police say five Farmingdale High School students are facing gang assault charges after attacking two 17-year-olds in Farmingdale last week.
They say one victim was knocked unconscious and needed surgery for multiple fractures to his face and nose.
Both victims' wallets and an iPhone were also stolen.
