Police: Unlicensed teen driver hits, seriously injures man in Bay Shore
A teenager is accused of driving without a license and hitting a pedestrian in Bay Shore, police say.
They say the 58-year-old victim was crossing Union Boulevard near First Avenue just after 6 p.m. Saturday when he was struck.
The victim was seriously injured.
Police say the 16-year-old driver was issued a summons. News 12 is told there were two 15-year-old passengers in the car at the time, but they were not injured.
Investigators have not released the identity of the teen driver.
