HUD administrator Lynne Patton gets stuck in NYCHA elevator

Lynne Patton, the Department of Housing and Urban Development's regional administrator, experienced a bit of a hiccup today as she continues her month-long stay at NYCHA complexes citywide.
While in the Douglass Houses on Tuesday, Patton got stuck in an elevator for about 10 minutes. The FDNY rescued Patton, her staff and other media persons from the stuck elevator.
Patton met with the Tenant Association president at the Douglass Houses in Manhattan on Monday. She is expected to live at the Douglass Houses for the rest of the week.
This follows her stay at the Patterson Houses in Mott Haven.

Patton says she has been documenting the conditions and reports them back to President Donald Trump.
She's expected to stay at two other NYCHA complexes before concluding her stay.
