Stamford superintendent to leave job before contract ends

Stamford's Board of Education has confirmed that the school's Superintendent, Earl Kim, is leaving the school system before the end of his contract.

Stamford's Board of Education has confirmed that the school's Superintendent, Earl Kim, is leaving the school system before the end of his contract.
Board of Education President Andy George says the Board is working with Kim on a transition plan.
Kim became superintendent in July of 2016. This past August, Kim was overwhelmingly awarded a three-year contract extension.
There is no word on why Kim is leaving.
