Game On: Carcassonne

First published in 2000, Carcassonne is one of the grandfather games that the entire world of modern tabletop games has been born out of.
The two-player game is named after the walled city in Southern France and has players drawing and placing tiles to build a quiet medieval countryside.
Carcassonne can be a tactical and biting experience – as every chance to take points away from your opponent is just as good as getting them for yourself. With a full table, it's almost a zenlike experience.
