There is a new place in Yonkers helping high school students get into college.

Yonkers Partners in Education unveiled a new state-of-the-art learning space located on Main Street.

The program is more than just homework help; students also get social and emotional support from volunteer mentors.

The program serves about 1,200 high school students each year.

About 130 students are expected to use the new facility daily.
