New Rochelle man convicted of suffocating 7-year-old daughterPosted: Updated:
A New Rochelle man has been convicted of killing his daughter.
Neil White suffocated 7-year-old Gabrielle White inside their home in Arbor Glen in 2017.
He did it after receiving divorce papers from his wife the day before.
White faces 25 years to life in prison when he's sentenced next month.
Westchester County District Attorney Anthony A. Scarpino said, “Once again, our hearts go out to the family of Gabrielle White, who will always mourn the loss of this little girl. The murder of a child is never easy. There are no winners here. But, in this case against Neil White, the jury saw justice for 7-year-old Gabrielle and the family who loved her. Even so, their lives will never be the same.”
