Police: Man accused of stealing woman's car, purse

PUTNAM VALLEY -

A Putnam Valley man is accused of forcibly stealing a woman's car and her purse.

Officials say the incident happened on June 30. They were responding to a report of a domestic incident on Campbell Road.

They say the 30-year-old allegedly forcibly stole the victim's car along with her purse.

Police say the suspect caused cuts to the victim's elbow and pain in her wrist.

The suspect, along with the car, were later found in Putnam Valley.
