McDonald's teams up with DoorDash to provide delivery service

You don't need Uber Eats to get your McNuggets delivered to your door. McDonald's has announced a partnership with DoorDash, ending its exclusive relationship with Uber Eats. Uber had been the only delivery service for the fast-food chain since 2017, working with about 64 percent of locations. Since then McDelivery has grown to become a $3 billion business. McDonald's says the new partnership will make its delivery accessible to all 50 states and 80 percent of Americans.

IKEA is shutting down its only U.S. factory. The furniture giant says moving raw materials to its Danville, Virginia plant was too expensive so it will shift all production to Europe. The factory makes wood furniture and employs 300 people. Danville says it will lose 500,000 in annual tax revenue from the closure. IKEA had received about $3.8 million in state and local incentives, but said the production costs were ultimately too high to continue operation.

Google Maps will help you find bike rentals. The app will show users where the nearest docking station is and how many bikes are currently available. The feature has been testing in New York for a year.
