Borough quality-of-life complaints include noise, graffiti, homelessness

Over the past year, the city agency 311 has received more than 100,000 complaints for a handful of quality-of-life issues in Brooklyn.

Over the past year, the city agency 311 has received more than 100,000 complaints for a handful of quality-of-life issues in Brooklyn.
Complaints include residential, street and commercial noise, as well as sightings of graffiti, homelessness, public drinking and public urination.
Community leader Anthony Beckford and many others are calling on the city to make improvements. The mayor's office has not yet returned a request for comment.
