Brooklyn native remembered at Najee Memorial Peace Games

A college student who was shot to death on his North Carolina college campus in 2018 was remembered Saturday during a community basketball tournament in Crown Heights.
Najee Ali Baker, 21, lived across the street from Jackie Robinson Playground his whole life before attending Wake Forest.
The football player getting his physical education degree was shot to death at a party on campus in January 2018.
His memory is being kept alive through the Najee Memorial Peace Games – now in their second year.
Organizers say they also hold an annual football game every Father’s Day in Baker's honor.
