NY reveals new license plate selected by voters

New Yorkers have voted, and the state's new license plate has been revealed ahead of its roll-out planned for next year.
A design that features some of New York's best known landmarks was selected as the new license plate. It was chosen out of five options in a public vote.
It will replace the blue and white plates, which are more than 10 years old.
Drivers with outdated license plates will have to pay 25 dollars for a new one.
As News 12 has reported, the plan to change plates has drawn some criticism. Some feel the move is a cash grab by the state.
The new plates will roll out in April 2020.
