Westchester Executive George Latimer welcomed county executives from Long Island Friday in White Plains for a ‘Tri-County Summit.”
Latimer, Nassau’s Laura Curran and Suffolk’s Steve Bellone discussed several issues concerning the region, including infrastructure and energy.

Latimer said that three counties have many common interests where they have a “common purpose.” Those include the health of the Long Island Sound and transportation systems.
Between the three counties, there are 4 million residents.
The event was part of the Business Council of Westchester's Political Leadership Series.
