Mother believes missing daughter was forced into sex trafficking

Posted: Updated:

The search is still on for a Westampton teenager who went missing a few weeks ago.

Angelica Scarlett believes her daughter, Aviana Weaver, was forced into sex trafficking. She says she has seen photos of the 17-year-old on websites.

Scarlett is working with police in New Jersey and Philadelphia, where her phone was last tracked.

Rapper TI posted an article and photo of the teenager to Instagram with the caption: "FYI....saying something, if you see her ain't going to make you a rat."

An Amber Alert was not issued for Weaver. Authorities say the incident didn't fit the criteria.
