Tenants in a Suffolk apartment complex are demanding something be done about their lack of hot water before the cold winter months.
Fairfield apartment complex tenants in Commack say they haven’t had hot water in months, and that complaints to management have not been met with answers.
Michelle Delevante called the situation “frustrating” and “demeaning.”

“I have a little daughter and the two of us have to worry every morning if we're going to be able to have a hot shower. Thus far, we haven't,” she told News 12.
News 12 spoke with Kathleen Romayne, director of customer service, by phone Thursday morning.
“Management is always working on the best interest of our residents, they are our priority and we actively take care of any complaints,” she said.
She didn’t address the question when News 12 asked if the issue would be fixed today.
Residents say the complex has a long list of other problems, including a lack of heat during the winter, bad smells coming from drains, broken gutters and loose paving stones on some stairs.
On Thursday afternoon,  Delevante says she was visited by property management to assess the problem.
