A woman is under arrest after a fatal crash in Wading River involving a 90-year-old.

Detectives determined that Tara Demauro was the driver of the Jeep that hit a Nissan on Route 25A Monday.

According to police, the 48-year-old from Rocky Point originally gave them the name of someone else, who was not involved.

The 90-year-old from Calverton died in the crash.

Demauro is now facing several charges including criminal impersonation and driving with a suspended license.
