A gastropub in Ditmas Park continues to be a popular favorite for comfort food.

The Ox Tavern is known for its variety of burgers, like the “good ol' boy” topped with bacon, mushrooms and cheddar cheese.

Another popular favorite is the pan seared salmon served with mashed potatoes and a special mushroom sauce. It also comes with pickled onions and jalapeños, which the owners say customers really enjoy.

"It's just a contrast of flavors. From little salty to the onions that bring a little spice to it and a little bit of pickled flavor with it that people really love," says Ariel Mojica, OX Taven co-owner.

The Ox Tavern has been open in the community for the past decade.
