Businesses in Freeport impacted by last week's nor'easter were hit with another round of pounding rain and damaging winds Wednesday.

Barbara Jagnow, longtime owner of Ottos on the Nautical Mile, says the weather is always on the top of her mind.

"We're so weather-dependent down here," says Jagnow. "It could make or break a business."

Jagnow spent the day bringing in everything that might blow away or get damaged.

"We had everything decorated beautifully with scarecrows and everything for our fall festival coming up and I don't want to lose everything," says Jagnow.

Jagnow says last week's flooding forced her to close Ottos for 2 1/2 days because the water was so high. She says another problem is that when cars drive down the Nautical Mile when it's flooded, it pushes all the water into the restaurants.
