A 16-year-old was slashed in the face when a fight on social media turned into a brawl on the street.
The incident happened Friday night in the parking lot of Murray's Skate Rink in Yonkers.

Yonkers police say it started with teenage girls fighting on Snapchat, and ended in a real fight that left a 16-year-old male with a slash down the side of his face.
An adult may have been the person wielding the knife.
News 12 obtained video, provided by the family of the 16-year-old, showing part of the fight. The mother of the teen says the group in the far back includes her son and claims the two people attacking him were adults.
Police tell News 12 they are investigating the incident and believe some adults were involved in the fight.
So far, no arrests have been made.
While the brawl wasn't random, the boy’s mother say she is wondering where the security was outside the rink.
Police tell News 12 they arrived to Murray’s Skating Rink in seconds and that they don't believe there is a safety issue.
Officers also believe it was a fight that would have happened regardless of the location.
