11-year-old gives back by collecting toys for children in hospitals

A boy from Dix Hills is trying to make the holiday season special for children who are in the hospital.
Rosario Cascio has been collecting toys for children at area hospitals through his project Rosario's Giving Tree. He will distribute them on Saturday.
The 11-year-old started Rosario's Giving Tree back in 2017.
Rosario's mother says she first helped spread the word about the giving tree over social media. Now she says Rosario's Giving Tree has applied for nonprofit status.
The group partnered with T&J Limousine, which gives the toys a ride to the hospitals.
