A New Windsor physician’s assistant has been charged with forcible touching, after he allegedly grabbed his patient inappropriately.

Detectives say at the time of the incident in July, Sean Cavanaugh, 44, was working at the Vitality Psychiatry Group Practice.

The victim says while he was checking her heart rate, he placed the stethoscope underneath her shirt and bra, and proceeded to touch her breasts.

Cavanaugh was arrested on Jan. 13 and released from custody. He is due back in court on Jan. 23.

An order of protection has been issued against the suspect.
