White Plains reinvents iconic building in hopes of reinvigorating downtown

An iconic office building is being reinvented in White Plains.
The newly redesigned mezzanine at 50 Main Street features a state-of-the-art fitness center, private meeting rooms and contemporary artwork by several Hudson Valley artists curated by Arts Westchester.
There will also be added paintings and sculptures featured in an outdoor park setting.
White Plains Mayor Thomas Roach, said that reinventing the iconic building is the first step in bringing life back to this area of town.

The entire transformation of 50 Main Street is expected to be completed by the end of 2020.
