Fallen tree on NJ Transit tracks near Newark Broad Street Station causes delays

A fallen tree on train tracks near the Newark Broad Street Station caused delays for New Jersey Transit.
The damage caused services on the Morris & Essex and Montclair-Boonton to be suspended for a time Friday afternoon. Service has resumed, but NJ transit officials said to expect delays of up to 30 minutes on both lines.
Crews were out on the tracks making repairs since the tree knocked down some overhead wires. NJ Transit officials say that the tree fell due to high wind in the area.
