Power and Politics: Lt. Gov. Kathy Hochul

The highest ranking female elected official in New York sat down for a wide-ranging interview for a special edition of News 12’s Power and Politics.

Lt. Gov. Kathy Hochul is one of the most powerful women in the state and only a heartbeat away from New York's top job.

She had an intimate conversation with Tara Rosenblum and spoke passionately when asked what she thinks is the most pressing issue facing New York state right now. “Boy that's a tough one to narrow it down. The largest facing, not just New York but everywhere, is truly the threat of climate change,” she said.

She also detailed being touched personally by the Me Too movement, legalizing marijuana and the controversy surrounding the cash bail changes.
