Wake held for slain funeral home director

Posted: Updated:

Family and friends said goodbye to a funeral home director who was allegedly murdered by a former employee.

Police say Noah “Noe” Hamer, 42, was fatally shot just hours after firing an employee last week. It happened last week at TJ McGowan Sons Funeral Home in Haverstraw.

A wake will also be held Friday at the funeral home.

Hamer will be laid to rest on Saturday.

Gerard O'Sullivan, 60, of New City, has been indicted on a murder charge that carries a potential life sentence for the killing.
