An Ossining man has pleaded guilty to attempted murder after a shooting in 2019.

Police say Mario Mieles, 31, shot at a man nine times with a semi-automatic pistol, hitting him at least three times, during a fight last March.

It happened on Van Cortlandt Avenue near the Cortlandt Ridge condo complex. Investigators found the gun used in the shooting.

Investigators say he fled the scene before later turning himself in.

The victim suffered serious life-altering injuries.
