Sports Rush Preview: Opening round of high school basketball playoffs

The opening round of the high school basketball playoffs is in the books as the top seeds cruised to victories.
The number one ranked Suffern boys hosted Scarsdale. Suffern's Clev Lubin had a double-double with 24 points and 12 rebounds as the Mounties rolled over the Raiders 58-46. Suffern will take on Spring Valley in the quarterfinals.
In North Rockland, the Red Raiders went on a 21-4 run to finish out a 67-50 win over Fox Lane. Sidney Zamor had 19 points, while Matt Konicoff added 14 points and eight rebounds.
In Mamaroneck, the seventh seeded Tigers were stunned by the Ketcham Indians of Wappingers Falls 43-38.
