RB Fitness of New Rochelle is sharing different ways to remain healthy and active during the coronavirus pandemic.
The gym’s group of master trainers decided to think outside the box and create a series of crafty in-home workouts.
“A strong immune system is going to go a long way and the easiest ways to work on that is to build through working out,” says Rob Burroughs of RB Fitness.
Some of the advice offered included stretching, jumping rope and calisthenics. They recommend using everything at your disposal.
Although many are accustomed to using gym equipment, workouts are absolutely still possible without the heavy tools.
“In the house, you may not have a kettlebell, so the next closest thing you may have is a can of paint," says Burroughs. He recommends practicing the same exercise with your hips going straight forward.
News 12 is told the main thing most trainers are highlighting is remaining consistent and exercising as much as possible. This way, when the gyms reopen people won’t feel out of place.
