Teachers across Hudson Valley are facing a new learning curve during the coronavirus outbreak.
With districts closed because of the coronavirus, teachers are now working from home and managing students and their own families simultaneously.

The White Plains Public Schools launched its online classrooms this week.
Teachers are now doing everything they can to keep the online learning as exciting as the classroom, filling digital lessons with videos and presentations.

"I'm having fun with it. I've had some experience in the past making recordings and videos and instruction. So, I do enjoy doing that and then I can post the link for the kids to go watch so they still have the personal touch of seeing me and hearing me,” says middle school teacher Raquel Benitez.
There's no denying the biggest difficulty are the faces they love to see - now separated by screens.
"I really miss being able to see my students. I really miss being able to talk to them and see them like what we're doing and have that a-ha moment,” says elementary school teacher Ann Hovis-Williams.
