News 12’s nightly coronavirus call-in show is answering your questions about the pandemic.
Wednesday evening, Pediatrician Dr. S. Amna Husain said it's still unclear how the coronavirus might impact our pets. "If you are ill, please don't come near your pet. We do have some data from China that perhaps pets can contract the virus. We don't know if they (pets) can pass it, but nonetheless, if you're ill, you should stay in your room with your own bathroom."
Dr. Husain adds you shouldn't be leaving the house if you're sick except to go to the doctor's office.
Our next coronavirus special is tonight at 7 p.m. Dr. Caroline DeFilippo, an internist and assistant medical director at CareMount Medical, will be the guest answering your questions.
You can send any questions you have in the comments section of News 12’s Facebook page.
