Volunteers pick up groceries for people in need amid coronavirus pandemic
An organization is utilizing its volunteers to go grocery shopping for those who cannot leave their homes due to the coronavirus pandemic.
Ride Connect is a program of family services for Westchester that provides transportation for older adults throughout Westchester and Putnam counties.

The organization has expanded its services to "shop and drop," where volunteers will take their grocery list, go shopping then drop it off at the doorstep.
Over 300 volunteers are currently working remotely for Ride Connect.
