Baseball players at Suffern High School planted a tree last week in memory of two teammates killed in a car crash last month.
The team gathered in the school?s courtyard to plant the young Dogwood and honor 17-year-old Chirstopher Konkowki and 18-year-old Vincent Crotty. The teens were on their way to baseball practice when their car slammed into a dump truck on Route 202.
Police are still trying to determine the cause of the crash and say they hope to finish the investigation within the next few weeks.
