A new study shows that some children's medications may be causing parents to give improper doses to their children because of unclear or non-apparent dosage instructions.

The Journal of the American Medical Association shows that some of the droppers and cups that come with many liquid medications are sometimes poorly marked, and often don't match with the package labeling.

In some cases, the direction use terms such as teaspoon or tablespoon, when the included measuring device lists doses in milliliters.

Some products were found to not even include dosing devices such as droppers or cups to properly measure the medicine.
