A new study says nearly half of New York's major roads are in poor or mediocre condition.
Driver Kelly Cassidy says her tire blew out at 1 a.m. while driving down Route 22 in Valhalla, and that she wants New York lawmakers to make roads safer.
TRIP, a national transportation research group, also says that drivers spend on average $700 per year to repair vehicles.
Phil Caldarola, a sales consultant at White Plains Chrysler Jeep Dodge, says that potholes and tire repairs are good for the service industry.
