Authorities say the woman who the car belonged to later turned up after taking a walk.

YONKERS - A car left parked on the Bear Mountain Bridge with a suicide note sent rescue divers on a frantic search for a victim early Saturday morning.

Authorities say the woman who the car belonged to later turned up after taking a walk. State police transported her to a nearby hospital for evaluation.

An 81-year-old Somers man jumped from the bridge just last month. His body was recovered five days later.
