Suspected Westchester drug dealer fatally shot after injuring two officers
A suspected drug dealer believed to be part of a heroin and cocaine ring in Westchester and the Bronx was fatally shot Tuesday.
According to police, two state troopers were executing a warrant in the Bronx when the suspect 29-year-old Michael Londonio, shot one trooper in the leg and the other in the vest. The Westchester DA?s office conducted a 10-month long investigation called Operation Drug Fellas, which resulted in the arrest of 32 people. The DA?s office says in the last five months Londonio netted $1 million in drug sales.
The officer who was shot in the leg is in stable condition at Jacobi Medical Center in the Bronx.
